Invision Sally Jobe Results Now Available in CORHIO Health Information Exchange

CORHIO now receives test results in the health information exchange from Invision Sally Jobe, a nationally recognized leader in women’s imaging. When patients across the Front Range are tested at one of Sally Jobe’s locations, those results will be immediately available in the CORHIO health information exchange portal called PatientCare 360® for authorized caregivers to access.

This connection will save busy healthcare providers time spent requesting results, as well as save patients from being re-tested due to communication or technology challenges between providers.

This is important as providers and imaging professionals urge patients receive necessary testing to avoid complications. According to a recent New York Times article “Nearly one in four cancer patients reported delays in their care because of the pandemic, including access to in-person appointments, imaging, surgery and other services, according to a recent survey by the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network.”

Now that the connection to the CORHIO HIE is complete, Invision Sally Jobe’s imaging reports are immediately available to Colorado providers through CORHIO’s PatientCare 360^® portal, which is used by more than 19,000 healthcare professionals, including emergency room physicians and office-based providers. The CORHIO portal helps to reduce avoidable repeat testing that occurs when test results are slow to arrive.

Upon request to CORHIO, authorized network participants can have the reports delivered seamlessly into the appropriate providers’ electronic health record (EHR) system, facilitating faster clinical decision-making and less waiting time for patients.
